Super Speedy Shipping
We pride ourselves in efficient and timely shipping within Canada and beyond. We ship items every business day, often within hours of your order. We are located in Canada and all items are shipped from our Canadian location.
We prefer to ship using FedEx Ground service but will sometimes choose to use Canada Post Airmail at our discretion based on location and address. If you enter a box number for your address, we will ship using Canada Post (FedEx cannot deliver to Box addresses). We reserve the right to make the decision based on address. Both services offer roughly the same delivery window.
Shipping within Canada
Four shipping options will be available to you when you checkout:
Fedex Ground (1 to 7 business days): Fedex offers cost-effective, trackable on-time delivery in 1 to 7 business days within Canada. For an estimated delivery time for your area, see the Fedex Ground Service Map - Canada. CostumeChik charges a flat-rate ground shipping charge of $11.95 per package, regardless of how many items you purchase. Ground shipping to Prince Edward Island, Nunavut, Northwest Territory, Yukon and Newfoundland is set at a flat rate of $19.95 regardless of how many items are purchased.** Remote location and bulky item exceptions apply.
Fedex 2 Day (1 to 2 business days): Fedex offers 2 day express which provides door-to-door delivery by 5:00 pm on the second business day. 2 Day express is available to most metropolitan areas across Canada. To confirm that you are located in an area that will receive an express 2 day shipment in the 2 day window, contact us or check transit time on the Fedex website using sender postal code T2G 0T2. Rates within Canada for 2 day express range from $24.00 to $60.00.**
Fedex Overnight (Next Business Day to most places): Fedex Priority Overnight offers next business day, morning delivery to most metropolitan areas and 5:00 pm delivery to outlying areas.**
Shipping to USA
Two shipping options are available to our customers in the USA upon checkout:
Fedex Ground (2 to 7 business days): Fedex offers cost-effective, trackable on-time delivery in 2 to 7 business days to the USA. For an estimated delivery time for your area, see the Fedex Ground Service Map - USA. CostumeChik offers a standard flat-rate ground shipping charge of $13.95 per package regardless of how many items you purchase. Ground shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is set at a flat rate of $34.95 regardless of the number of items purchased. ** Remote locations, heavy and bulky item exceptions apply.
Fedex 2 Day Priority(2 business days): Fedex offers 2 day express service which provides door-to-door delivery by 5:00 pm on the second business day. 2 Day express is available to most metropolitan areas in the USA. To confirm that you are located in an area that will receive an express 2 day shipment in the 2 day window, contact us or check transit time on the Fedex website using sender postal code T2G 0T2. The standard flate-rate charge for 2 day service is $37.95 to the USA ($49.95 to Hawaii and Alaska) for most parcels. ** Remote locations, heavy and bulky item exceptions apply.
Overnight Express shipping is available upon request. Please contact us if you require this service.
CostumeChik is not responsible for any tax or duty payable to international shipments. In the rare occassion, the shipping timeline may be affected by customs issues, this is out of the control of the shipper or the shipping company. Fedex will generally inform us of customs delays and we will pass that information on to the recipient as quickly as possible.
Shipping Internationally
CostumeChik is currently set up to accept orders from the following countries, if your country is not here, please contact us and we will check into the possibility of shipping to you. We will gladly add any countries to our shipping list provided the shipping logistics make sense.
For economy shipments, we use Canada Post Small Packet Airmail. For quicker delivery, we use FedEx International Economy. FedEx Express delivery is also available upon request.

** Please note that shipping rates for remote locations including (but not exclusive to) Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska and Hawaii are higher. We will contact you with any additional shipping charges that might apply. Longer delivery times are also likely to remote locations. Heavy or Bulky Item Exception: some items are particularly heavy or bulky and additional shipping charges may apply. In most cases the extra charge will be included at checkout, but there may be instances where we will contact you and inform you of additional item shipping charges.
